Andrea Ronk, Guest Instructor
Andrea Ronk, guest instructor in choreography, received her bachelor of arts degree in dance pedagogy from Point Park University. She recently toured with Sesame Street Live for the 2009 Theater Tour of When Elmo Grows Up. She performed the roles of "Rosita" and "Roxie Marie". Prior to joining the tour, Andrea was a dance instructor for nine years. This will be her tenth year teaching ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop and contemporary dance to students throughout the Pittsburgh area. Her musical choreography credits include North Allegheny's Oklahoma!, Bye Bye Birdie, Beauty and the Beast and Cats as well as multiple shows for Jeter Back Yard Theater and Ingomar United Methodist Church, most recently IUMC/WAS's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat!
Andrea recently graduated from Carlow University with her teaching certificate in Art Education and is a mural artist specializing in childrens' murals. She created Personal Touch Painting nine years ago, and her murals can be seen in numerous residential and commercial spaces throughout Pennsylvania and Michigan. Andrea was excited to share both her background in dance and visual arts with the students attending Wexford Acting Studio's 2010 summer camp.
